I ordered a GHD from Overstock and it was a fake (I called GHD to find out). GHD will not warranty their product if you buy it from Overstock. check the GHD website before you place an order here.

I've owned various flat irons and this one is by far the best! It heats up unbelievably quickly, does less damage than other flat irons, work very well, and is very versatile. You can wear your hair super straight, curly, flipped out, or flipped under. Overstock.com also shipped them item super fast.

This iron is FABULOUS! A coworker of mine recommended it after I asked her how she got her fine straight hair so curly. I am throwing out all my curling irons. I never thought you could curl your hair with a straightening iron but you can! AND it will STAY curled ALL day with minimal product! Gone are the days of standing there with my curling iron waiting for it to heat up my hair...and then only to see it fall by the time I walked out the door....Its SO fast ! AND its real. I was nervous that it might be a fake, but when I got it, it had the hologram on the iron, AND I registered with ghd to be sure. This is the best investment I could have made- if only Overstock carried their hair care line as well!

Good flat iron and definitely performs better than the CHI. For one it gets much hotter, and it doesn't burn the hair. What I like best is that once you turn it on, within 10 seconds it beeps that its ready for use. Which comes in handy in the morning. It is a little pricey and beware of immitations. If the price is just too good to be true then something is probably wrong with it or its not a real ghd. overstock was a safe bet for purchase and price wise.

After a horrible experience with my T3, I bought the GHD from hearing all the ravs. Well, it is BY FAR WORTH EVERY PENNY! I can't live without it!

I LOVE this flat iron-- could not get better results. I was using a BedHead flat iron that I thought was doing the job, and then my stylist told me to invest in a better iron. Let me tell you, it was worth it! Everyone has been complimenting me on my hair since I've started to use this. I am no expert at doing hair either-- it is easy to use and gives me the sexy beachy wave that I've been striving for.

My teenaged daughter is very happy with this product. She says it heats up quickly, shuts off after 30 mins. if she forgets to turn it off, and doesn't pull her hair the way a cheaper straightener would. I struggled with paying this much for a straightener for a teenager, but the Overstock price is a much better buy than other websites, where you might not even be sure if it is truly a GHD product or an imitation. We've spent money on other straighteners in the past, but they haven't performed well and seem to break easily. From what she has read about GHDs, they tend to be more reliable. Am hoping this works as well in one year as it does today!

This is the greatest styling iron on the market. It allows you to style your hair quickly without any damage. It makes your hair shiny and smooth, it's incredible!

This is an awesome straightener. One thing that does disappoint me about it is that there's no heat setting and the back plates get really hot... to a point where I can't put it near my skin. I don't mind it when it comes to my side/back hair, but for my bangs, I always like to use low heat to give it a more natural, clean look (not where you see a slight curl from your roots, hate that!). I'm aware that you're not supposed to put it near your skin, but for my bangs, I always like to start from my roots. I've decided to keep it , nonetheless, I'm just going to have to use my old straightener (it has a heat setting and a heat protector for the back plates) for my bangs. Supposedly, you'll have static free hair with this, but that's not true. I think it all depends on the weather, your shampoo/conditioner, and your hair type. I have very fine hair, so I've switched my shampoo/conditioner to the dry/damaged type to give it more weight. This helps with the static.Still a great straightener! Oh, and it doesn't snag your hair at all, WHICH I TOTALLY LOVE!

Got it as a gift, and it was exactly what was wanted. Price was good for a real GHD, as some of the GHD units selling for "silly" low(er) prices are very likely "knock off" fakes. I suggest that buyers be careful, and only buy this product from a reputable retailer as I did.

This is the genuine product! This one has the hologram & everything else, however other ghd products are made in CA-USA too, allowed by the company. Some only have date codes & NO hologram. Overstock is the ONLY website I would trust. They make sure you're getting the genuine ghd products. This product is wonderful: heats up in seconds, easy to use, & hair salon look. I bought the 2" flatiron for my long hair-mid of back. I like this one much better.

This straightener is by far the absolute best straightener I have ever used!!! With myself and 2 teenage daughters, we have tried almost every straightener on the market. The GHD heats up within seconds and is ready to use. It gets hot enough to straighten your hair, yet it doesn't burn or damage your hair at all. My hair has never looked better. I was hesitant to spend this type of money on a straightener, but I am glad I splurged and made this purchase. This straightener also seems to be built better than any other straightener that I have owned in the past.
