I need a lightweight dryer and this one is easy to hold. It dries your hair quickly and and it's easy to blow it straight and get body. My hair feels great and I am so delighted with this "find.". Would definitely recommend it for travel and it's also my every day dryer.

I originally purchased this mainly for travel. Once I received it and looked at how VERY small it was, I was really concerned about it drying my thick hair. But, OMG - how surprised I was at how fast it dried it! I now use it all of the time and it is so light and is very quiet too! I would reccomend this to anyone who is looking for a small blow dryer, it is AWESOME! My daughter, who is a hair stylist was also VERY impressed with it too.

I've had travel hairdryers that felt a lot more sturdy. This one had a rattle in it when I first go tit (but it has since gone away.) Takes a LONG time to dry your hair compared to other travel hairdryers I've tried. Usually Chi is great but I've moved to a different style of hairdryer now.

I highly recommend this hair dryer. I've had it for almost five months and it gets my hair super straight in no time. It leaves my hair looking shiny. I am natural, but with this blow dryer, you would never know it because it turns my super curly/kinky hair bone straight.

I own the Chi Pro dryer, standard size and love it. Less drying and damaging to my hair than other dryers. I needed travel size for summer vacation trips. It is perfect for what I need!

I have 4 daughters, who all fight over bathroom time and hair appliances. My solution was to get them all their own stuff. The mini CHI PRO Hair dryer seemed a good choice based on the reviews. It's been 2 weeks and 2 of the dryers are fried (not working at all) For the price I'm seriously dissappointed. I can buy hair dryers at **** that last longer.

This is EXACTLY what I need for traveling. It is lighweight, folds compactly and does a wonderful job of drying my hair is very little time. I just wish I had bought this several years ago!

I bought this to have a small dryer to throw in my suitcase, but I found I love it for everyday. It is light, and does not tire my arm to use it. This hair dryer is only 800 watts but it only takes about 7 minutes to dry my medium length, thick natural curly hair. I have not used it on high because I have found the low heat and low speed setting to be fine for drying my hair in a few minutes. It leaves my hair soft and shiny and my hair does not look like I stuck my head in a 1000 watt microwave. This is a wonderful hair dryer. I only have one complaint and that is it does not come with a diffuser.

This is an awesome little dryer! Although not as powerful as Chi's full-size model, it still does an amazing job for such a little machine. You will not believe how small this dryer is, making it ideal for travel. It is also very quiet, and it comes with a concentrator attachment. While I would not recommend this hair dryer for everyday use because the full-size Chi hair dryer is so much better for that, I would definitely recommend it for on-the-go!!! Another good use would be for a child just learning to blowdry her own hair--my 10 yr. old uses it all of the time because it is small and light and not as awkward for small hands.

Love this little dryer! It folds for storage, and is very small. I use it for everday use, not just for travel. Has a lot of power for such a small piece, and does a good job of smoothing hair. I have very fine, thin hair that dries quickly anyway-would probably recommend the larger size for those with thick, coarse hair. Great investment for the price!

I just got back from a trip where I used this dryer. It is great and I would highly recommend it to anyone who might need a travel dryer. The size and power is just perfect for traveling.

I bought this as a replacement for the travel hair dryer in my suitcase that was mysteriously missing after a trip. It is VERY compact and can dry hair abnormally fast. I only use it when I travel, but it seems to be a great product!

This dryer is a little dynamo!! I have a bad shoulder so I wanted a smaller/lighter hairdryer, and this one was perfect for me. My old dryer blew so much air it made my hair dry too fast & frizzy, and I couldn't blow my hair straight. I have naturally curly hair that I've gotten really nice compliments on the last 2 uses. Yes, it doesn't blow crazy hard air, and doesn't get super hot and burn my scalp. My hair is shinny, frizz free, and has tons of body and bounce. Bonus, no sore shoulder from drying my hair! The cord isn't crazy long, but just long enough, and comes with the Velcro strip to wrap it up.

I was disappointed that Overstock.com included in the item description that this Farouk Systems CHI Mini Pro Dryer is "Made in USA." That was specifically why I bought it. When it arrived at my home, I was very unhappy to see that the manufacturer's box state "Made in China." That's lying.
