i got this because i wanted something that would straighten and curl at the same time, because i have weird wavy and straight hair so for me to make nice curls i have to blow dry, straighten, and then curl. well this tool took some getting used to but it does make pretty waves and curls if you have the patience. it gets nice and hot very quickly. i wish it did slide more smoothly like my regular chi straightener though, maybe its just the texture of my hair. its a fun tool to have but i dont use it everyday because it can be time consuming to work with.
