Great Product
After using the elchim for years, I was a little skeptical to change brands. This dryer is great. Much quieter than the elchim and leaves my hair much smoother (less frizz).

Best Blowdryer Ever!
I have owned many a blowdryer in my day but this one is BY FAR the best one. I have long-naturally curly hair and I can blowdry it straight in literally 20 minutes tops, WHEN ITS WET! The best part is the reduced drying time saves my hair from damage. My hair ends up very shiny and very soft.

Design flaw
I bought two of these last August 31, one for me and one for a friend. The friend called me when the hair dryer was 9 months old. The heating element had died and it was blowing cold air. The manufacturer refused to honor the warranty, but overstock.com stepped in and is handling it (kudos to Overstock: they will repair or replace the item). I thought the problem was an anomaly. After all, there can be a one-off lemon in a great product. However, the heating element in my 10 month old dryer has now died as well. The same problem in two units? Sorry, no anomaly. This is a design flaw and you can probably expect the problem if you buy one. But gosh, other than that, it was a really great hair dryer.

I work in a salon and Chi dryers are never on sale. This is a great product for half the price. I have told several friends.

Took a chance and wow
I bought dryer on overstock after reading the reviews. I figured I would give this product a shot since it came with both attachments I use, a concentrator and a diffuser. I love to blow my hair straight or make it curly. The first day I used this product it was rainy and hot (I live in Florida). My boyfriend was rushing me and I said let me dry my hair. About ten minutes later I came out with frizz free, straight, completely dry hair. He even said that he's noticed my new dryer's benefits: It dries faster and keeps my hair looking the way it did when I left the house. I don't know about the long term effects, but honestly, having beautiful hair everyday makes me willing to replace a product if it breaks 10 months down the road.

LEMON - do not buy, 3 units went cold
1st dryer - heating element went cold after less than 12 months of continuous use 2nd dryer - replacement went cold after only 2 months of continuous use 3rd dryer - heating element went cold after 9 months of use Called to try and replace 3rd replacement, but I waited past the one year mark and they said it was too late. Oh well, it's a waste of time any way.

Great Hair Dryer
This was definitely a good purchase. It's quieter and dries my hair faster. My hair even looks healthier even when I don't use the Bioplus Sosilk Drops. The time is takes to dry/style my hair has definitely been reduced. Love it!

Good, but didnt last
This was a great dryer. I have really thick hair and it would straighten hair with minimal frizzing. When I went to use it today the heating element was gone. All I got is cold air. How disappointing to pay that much for a professional grade hairdryer and it only last 18 mo. I use it once a day not all day as you would expect it to be able to endure as a professional product . The worse is it only has a 1 year manufactuer warranty, so now I have to fork out more money for another hair dryer. Wont be a CHI this time!

I loved this blowdryer but im on my second and last one. This is the second time the heating element has gone out only after nine months. Its a shame because other then that it was my favorite blow dryer.
