I almost bought this exact same blowdryer (although in a different color) at a beauty supply store and it was $200+. This dryer is awesome-- much quieter than most, and doesn't fry your hair. It was a bit heavier than I'd expected, but not too bad. One thing I found a bit odd is that it emits cool air from the cord shaft (random) and there are all sorts of typos in the insert (perhaps why it's on Overstock?). I would still highly recommend.

I had purchased the Chi Pro Hair Dryer at a substantially high price and was very pleased with it. When my children and granddaughters were visiting, my daughter asked about my hairdryer since it did not frighten my granddaughter when I dried her hair. My daughter noticed it was less noisy than hers. I was so pleased that I sent her one/.

It's good.. it drys hair faster... it doesn't make my hair as oily as other blow dryers..

I have had the dryer for almost a month now. So far, I have had no problems. I have very thick, wavy hair. A regular $20 hair dryer takes me around 10 minutes. This dryer only around 4-6 mins. It is very quiet. I was afraid at first since it doesn't blow as hard as other dryers, but it does do the job. This is the most that I have ever spent on a dryer. I am not for sure if I will again since I had anticipated it would make straightening my hair easier. I have not really noticed a change in my hair pre-flat ironed.

My roommate and I were over the old ionic hairdryer we had, it was time for a new one. This happened to be on sale and so I decided to purchase. We both already use the CHI hair straightener and their heat protecting products and are happy with them. This hair dryer is great. It dries my hair quicker and definitely leaves it less frizzy and less dry feeling. Would definitely recommend this product!

I had wanted a good, commercial quality blowdryer forever. My hairdresser has a CHI and swears by their products. It is very quiet and seemed well made. I have thick, naturally curly hair that I blow dry straight and the dryer did the trick well for a couple of weeks. But after only 15 or so uses, the dryer started blowing nothing but cold air. I live in the Rocky Mtns at an elevation of 8,000 plus and like to dry my hair with WARM air! It's got to go back. Overstock as usual is a DREAM to deal with. I was worried because my order date was just over 30 days but since it took about a week to get to me, I haven't had it the full 30 days. They emailed me a pre-paid return label and I anticipate a full refund. The reviews on the product are great....perhaps I just got a rare lemon.

I hadn't bought a hair dryer in years so I talked to katie who cuts my hair and got some general suggestions. I started shopping on Overstock and reading the reviews and I am glad that I did. I had never heard of Chi products but all the revies were raving about this product. I love this hair dryer. I have fibromyalgia which makes me fatigued. When I was done using my old hair dryer my arm was so tired. This dryer is so light. It takes me half the time to dry my hair and my hair has more body and the style looks nicer. Let's face it girls and guys if we are going to spend up to 50 dollars for a haircut and 100 collars for color why not spend a little more on the products we use to take care of our hair on a daily basis. This was a superb purchase. Thanks again Overstock. I am happy and my family is happy because it doesn't take Mom so long to shower and do her hair every day. My only concern is how long will it last but only time will tell that.

This dryer is lighter, quieter and faster than my old 1875 watt hairdryer. It does leave my hair more tangled than I'm used to, as one user said below, but I think that it's a minor thing. (I also just changed shampoo, so that could be a factor as well.) I love the attachments it came with and I'm happy with the purchase.

I was a bit shocked at first at how light the hairdryer was, but after I first used it, I can't imagine not having it. It's very quiet and it appears to have cut down my drying time as well.

I bought this blow dryer from my sister's recommendation. It dries my hair fast, but makes it really dry. I seem to get tangles while blow drying, which has never happened. I'm stuck with it now and have to remember to spray my wet hair with smoothing gel. Not as good as I expected.

The dryer has 2 attachments, a diffuser and the concentrator shown on the box. It also has a removable intake filter that can be cleaned - always a plus. A cool-shot button, and 2 blower settings, which are in a convenient location on the handle (some dryers make it awkward, not so this CHI), round out the features. A good solid dryer that does its job well.

This is the most expensive dryer I have every bought. I usually pick up whatever is on sale and it breaks just after the warranty. This dryer I feel is going to be around for a very long time. I am still getting used to using the different accessories. It is a very quiet dryer and one of the first things I noticed was the quality of the cord and the overall quality of the product. It is much more expensive on other sites, but the price overstock has it for makes it a very good value!

Thanks Overstock.com for making this product available. I would have had to pay almost double to purchase this dryer at a retail store. It is a brand new dryer and works perfect. I also appreciate the small shipping fee. That makes the whole purchase simply a GREAT DEAL! I'll be back shopping again soon.

I've used Chi products for the past four years and have never been dissapointed. My last dryer had to be replaced only because I damaged the cord due to my own laziness...otherwise it would have lasted for many years to come. The new Chi dryer that I recently purchased is of the same great quality, whisper quiet, and incredible drying power. My hair has never been damaged. I have recommended this product to others and continue to do so.
