Would not recommend this product to anyone. The size was perfect but I have long, thinner hair and it would always get stuck in a small crevice on the flat iron and would get pulled out.

i have thin hair that is wavy. this is by far the best flat iron i have bought. i have had a few cheap irons and they have worked okay on my hair. i had a ghd and it did not work good at all, it didn't keep my hair straight for long at all. this CHI flat iron heated up in less than 30 seconds and i straightened all of my hair in about 5 minutes, and my hair feels so soft after i use this CHI and my hair stays straight for the entire day. i love it!

I bought it for my sister and she absolutely loves it.

This is my first up-scale flat iron and it does the job. Most flat irons should not be expensive. I'm glad that it has the heat control dial which is important to me. I'm also glad about the long, swivel cord and how fast it heats up. However, inserting comb-like teeth would certainly be a benefit to keep hairs in place while gliding through. Overall, my hair is looking polished with no damage.

I owned the original CHI in the past and used it everyday. It lasted for a few years and finally stopped working after I accidentally burnt the cord one too many times. Anyways, I knew that I could never use anything but a CHI again so I found this one and thought it looked nice and seemed like it would work just like the original with a few extra bells and whistles. I was wrong. It only heats up to 200 degrees and the original was much better at taming my frizz because it gets hotter. Also, I have had the nano for less than a year and one of the ceramic plates already doesn't heat up at all. I was overall disappointed with the nano but not with the brand CHI. I am ordering a new original CHI right now.

I'm very happy with my Chi flat iron. At first I thought I would have to send it back but something told me to try it anyway. I was not aware that the temperature only went up to 180 degrees and I didn't think that would do much on my thick, coarse hair. But I was wrong. The product was shipped very quickly and I received it within the week I ordered it. (I didn't expect to get it back so soon!) Overall, I'm happy with the product!

Great product at the right price ; wasn't desapointed at all. Love the heat setting that works great for my baby fine hair .Doesn't pull the strands at all. Well woth the money. Thanks overstock!!

I really like this iron. I have really curly hair and so it's hard to find an iron that will take out my curls. I'm not really sure how it can curl your hair though....haven't figured that out yet. When i straighten it, it kind of leaves my hair a little stiff so i have to shake it out after i go over it with the iron. All in all, it works really well.

Have had the product less than 2 weeks, used it 4 or 5 times and love the way my hair looks and feels after use. It heats quickly and is light weight to use. The rounded edges make it easy to put a little flip or wave in the ends. Temperature is easy to read via how many lights are lit up. I had a drug store ceramic flat iron and there is a major difference in the end result. - very smooth with no frizzies when using the Chi. My stylist swears by the Chi. I've read some negative reviews about it suddenly not working at 11-12 months, so we'll see how it lasts. I liked that Overstock guarantees authenticity of product, as it may be knock offs that that are causing the bad press.

I wanted one of these for years after reading glowing review after glowing review. I've admired friends whose hair had gotten the Farouk CHI treatment. Then I finally got one for myself. And you know what? It's a hair straightener. It's a very good hair straightener, yes, but it's not miles beyond your regular $20 drugstore straightener. It does warm up very quickly. It doesn't straighten hair with submission with a single swipe -- I have to go over certain places multiple times, just like with any other straightener. The results do seem better, in that humidity (I live in Houston, city of humidity) doesn't freak my hair out as much, and in that my hair stays nicer for longer. But it's not like going to the salon. Also, there's this weird tiny bunch of bristles at the base of the iron part on one side that seems to serve no purpose other than to get caught in my hair. My hair isn't even curly or wavy -- it's basically straight, with a few wavier parts up front. This is a very good straightener, but I'm not sure it's worth nearly a hundred dollars. If it wasn't for the great Overstock discount, I would want my money back.

The heat can be adjusted, and you can see how hot the flat iron is by looking at the digital screen. It also heats very quickly. It is worth every cent -- if you're thinking about picking up a cheap flat iron from your local beauty store, save yourself the trouble and put your money towards this! You won't be sorry.

After reading reviews for flat irons, almost everyone compared other brands to Chi, so I decided to order one. It is easy to use and doesn't pull my hair, as I read that other brands can. My daughter also said that Chi was the best, so I ordered one for her. We are both very pleased.

I had my stylist help me pick this flat iron and am VERY pleased with it. The edges of the ceramic plates are slightly rounded so it does not pull or catch on your hair but glides through it easily. The adjustable temperatures makes it easy to dial in exactly the right temperature depending on your individual hair needs. I also use it to smooth my 9 year old daughter's hair and flip the ends under. The slight curl lasts all day. The iron leaves my hair silky smooth and flat and it lasts all day. I prefer a slight shape to the ends and this is easy to do with this iron. All over an excellent quality iron.
