this small chi product works wonders on my hair.. i recommended the straightner by chi 2 all my friends when my hair was longer. after i cut it they were wondering how my hair could manage to look so fresh out of the saloon every day..until i told them the secret..u bet it they all will be purchasing one for their shorter summer cut.. i love it!

I always thought my hair was plain and straight so why bother wih a straightener? But this really made a huge difference. My boyfriend commented immediately that he thought it looked great, which really impressed me. This left my hair with a more salon finished look just like the real thing. My only complaint is that it tends to leave creases in your hair if you don't start the iron high enough on the piece of hair. It does, however, get hot super fast and leave a slick, healthy-looking shine. Of course, don't forget to protect your hair with a thermal protecting spray like Chi offers. I prefer the Silk Result Thermal Smoother by Joico because it leaves a great scent. Combined with this straightener, I believe most would benefit from this beautiful look and it's quite simple to master.

I have stick straight hair that has never held a curl for more than an hour. With this iron I got nice, soft curls that I slept in -- and they still looked good the next day!

This is not a flat iron and I will continue to use my original CHI for that, but this this is great for curls and flips.

I love this product. I have had a couple of Chi straighteners in the past. They have been great, except the cords always seem to have an issue where the connection becomes loose, so when you're straightening your hair it turns on and off. I gave this volumizing Iron 5 stars because so far it works great. I love the way it actually gives my hair more volume. It heats up instantly and is very easy to use. I just hope the cord does not become loose over time.

This is the best flat iron i have purchased. I just wish they had a bigger version of this iron so you can style more hair at a t ime, but it's awesome. It get to 180 degrees very fast. i kinda wish the temperature went a little higher though
