This arrived in no time at all. I have four daughters and one by one they have all bought the Chi straightner because of the job it does compared to the cheaper brands. It doesn't catch or pull my hair like the other brands too. Heats up fast and I tried the oil that came with it. It made my hair soft and silky-but make sure to shake up the oil- it tends to seperate fast. I would buy this again.

I was a little concerned, due to the low price, that this might be a "knock off" CHI, but this is the real deal...and I love it. The cord is much longer than I am accustomed to (which is GREAT) and I like that it swivels so it never gets all twisted up. The CHI does a fantastic job of straigtening my hair with just a few passes and it doesn't "pull" like my old flat iron. I will never use anything but a CHI again. Worth every penny. Overstock, as always, shipped my item promptly. Thanks for the great product!

Dosnt get as hot as the orginial CHI, the handle near the on /off switch get really warm.

The same product as you would buy for a lot more in retail environments. This is my second CHI. Saved about $30-$40.

The iron works great!!I I paid $100 dollars for my other Chi but my puppy chewed the cord. Needed a new one but didn't want to spend that much money again. Great bargain.

This is my third Chi, so I know the product. I went with this model as it was cheaper than the regular Chi. So far so good. The oil has not the greatest smell, but leaves my hair looking great. Strongly recommend this combo purchase.

I have only owned original Chi products until now. This is a very good iron for the price. I do not like the oil so much but it is ok. Becareful because it will fry your hair very easily!! Overall it is a very reasonably priced flat iron. Good for teenage girls, and girls starting out. It does not have a temperature setting so it only goes to a certain temperature.

I bought this iron for my Mom over a year ago and it has always worked great when I've used it. When I finally decided to replace the iron I've used and loved for 12 years I bought one for myself. Leaves my hair soft and smooth, heats to just the right temp and love that you can even add some curls and flips with it.

When CHI's were first popular, I paid hundreds of dollars for one at the high price salon I went to. It did last for at least 7+ years. I had knocked it off my bathroom counter numerous times. In doing so, I broke the on/off switch and after rigging it into the on position long-term, it began to spark and smoke. At this point, figured I better opt for a new one. I did not want to revisit paying hundreds of dollars again, so this is when I found this bargain on Overstock (for a comparable 1in iron like I had before). The product is nearly the same as the one I paid big bucks for before, yet much cheaper. I would recommend this replacement to anyone (quality and bargain are a hit). The silk oil is not really something I'll probably use. I did use it once, but it feels rather dry when putting it on and I'm sure I'll continue using it. It was however a free add-on to the purchase, so no harm done.
