I got this for my daughter. She loved the ocean scene on the barrel. Chi irons are all I use as a professional hairstylist and she insisted on the Chi. She pulled it out of the box and straightened her hair immediately. Left her hair so shiny and straight. The oil included is definitely an added bonus. Great price for the brand... may have to order one for myself!

Chi is a brand name, unfortunately either I have defective piece or all these good reviews on for this machine are paid once! This straightner make a wierd sound when plates comes closer, second this machine really takes lot of time to heat up high....my hair is wavy and avg heat sometimes doesnt work...honestly i weight for around 30 minutes for machine to heat up. Thank fully I took 2 years replacement plan, and just wrote to customer care, lets see how they handle the things. Surprisngly this issue i noticed when i brought this product and wrote i review which is taken off this site....after customer care executive called me ..but i was living with problem and now when its worst I am doing same thing that i must have done long ago. Anyway...I might recommend such products only with warranty (if they actually replace it or refund my money) otherwise from genuine store who are authorised to sell them.

i would reccomend this product to anyone and everyone!!! the price was amazing and the product was too!! i use it daily and it works great on my hair. i have thick hair and this product works perfect with it. it takes maybe ten minutes tops to straighten all my hair which like i said is thick and pretty long. i also use it on my daughters curly frizzy hair and this product makes her hair look awesome!!

Although it does not have different heat settings this straightener heats up very quickly and is great for styling straight hair and even flipping ends in/out. I personally didn't like the Organic Chi Silk Oil because it made my hair greasy, but it was nice to have a sample of it. I have had it for over a year and it still works great.

I never owned a CHI before. I am pleased with it, I guess time will tell if I like it more than the other flat irons I have used before.

This is one of the best products i have purchased from O.co! I am late on writting this review, and have had the iron for over 1.5 years! first is is really pretty and totally unique and secondly it works perfectly! i would however throw away the silk oil sample that comes with it, because mine spilt and stained my car seat!

This Straightener was more than I expected and is better for my hair than the others that I've used. My husband can even tell the difference. It heats up immediately and has a light showing when its operating. It can be left plugged in and turn it off with the switch. As far as my hair, it really is much more gentler on my hair and just seems to do the trick that holds the style all day and evening. I don't think you'll go wrong buying this product.

Everything was more than expect, ordering, checking out, and I receive my CHI faster than expected. The only complaint I would have is that we did not receive the Organic CHI Silk Oil.

Unlike any other styling iron -- doesn't rip out your hair and smoothly gives you that straight new look. Gave it to my daughter for Chrismtas and she loves it! Highly recommend!

Bought this for my teen daughter for Christmas. Checked out a lot of irons and this was the best price for the good reputation Chi was showing. She loves it and so do I!! It is salon quality and really works well and fast. A few people talked about it not having a temp control. I don't see a problem with that. I am thinking of purchasing one for my other daughter for her birthday. She has thick curly hair like mine and it works great!

I have used many other straightners but this one works. I can straighten my long hair in about 20 min and it stays that way for the whole day. Only minor touch ups needed the next morning. The colors on the Beneath our Earth styling iron are incredible, this is a great gift or buy for any nature lover who wants straight hair.
