I really like this dryer! It made my hair softer, shinier and really less static-y than my old dearly departed Elchim hair dryer (though I dearly loved that as well!). It really did seem like the drying time was cut way short. I purchased this during a promotion and paid a lot less that any other place on the internet. The only detractor is that the materials seem a bit lightweight but I am extremely happy with my purchase!

A friend of mine talked me into buying this product, even though I never thought it would be worth it. I have to say, I'm impressed with how my hair looks afterwards. It's shinier and easier to style in the morning, and it stays with me all day, even in hot humid 100+ degree weather. It's a powerful dryer, and it definitely won't stay on the counter if left there, but that's because there's a lot of air blowing - indicative of a quality dryer. The controls are a little confusing, but you get used to it after using it several times. It's pricey, but you do get a quality product.

I have curly thick hair and I was looking for a hair dryer that would leave my hair straight and shiny and this dryer does the trick! It also dries my hair in 15 minutes and I have a lot of it! Just be careful no to get it too close to your hair because it can get very hot. Is the best hair dryer I have ever owned and I have owned expensive and cheap ones too!

So this is the last blow dryer I will be buying for a while. I have heard of this brand before and my hair dresser uses this brand. Not this model, butthis brand. I have tons of hair and it is wavey to curly. It is about half way down my back. It takes me about 30 min to blow dry it straight with a round brush. It leaves my hair soft and silky. The heat does not seem tto damage my hair. I have gone thorugh about 4 blow dryers from the drug stores and I am soo happy I bought this one. I have had it for about 1 year and 7 months and it has not stopped or disappointed.

I had the older version of this product and traveled with it extensively. It was on it's last legs so I needed to buy a new one. I saw this ionic one and thought I'd try it. The last one I used for 10 years so I knew I'd get my money out of it again. The ionic version seems a bit sturdier than the last one and is lighter - the hand grip is also better (my fingers don't accidently turn it off). It has one less heat setting, but I haven't noticed any difference in drying my hair. I absolutely LOVE this blow dryer. I also love that it's not made in China.

I have shoulder length fine hair with natural loose curls. Well, there is no fooling that this is an ionic hairdryer. While it makes my hair smooth, I have noticed that my hair is damp after a blowdry. This is b/c the ionic technology locks moisture into your hair. Nonetheless, if you don't currently blowdry your hair with a very narrow air concentrator, you won't regret purchasing this product. What a difference! My hair feels and looks healthier (stronger, shinier), but I could do without the dampness. You also can't beat Overstock's competitive price.

I have very thick curly hair that I straighten very often and I am super tough on my hair dryers. This one is wonderful. My hair is softer and so far - I think this dryer can definitely handle the abuse I can dish out. Great dryer!

What a difference an ionic hair dryer can make. Love it!

Excellent blowdryer, I am a hairstylist. Soft sound, powerful, blow drys hair smooth. comes with two nozzles which are great for keeping the air contained.

I like everything about my new hair dryer but I was dissappointed at all the scratches it had all over it when it arrived. It looked used and I almost returned it for that reason but i did not want to hassle it because I like the way it dried my hair. The appearance was quite dissappointing. Shirliani

This dryer is AWESOME! My husband bought it for me in a salon and I LOVED IT. It literally dries my hair in around 10 minutes (if I am not taking my time and using a round brush so I dont have to curl it!) and I have very long, thick hair. I had to buy a new one b/c we have a 2yr old that kept pulling on the cord and knocking it to the ground. After one too many tugs he finally cracked the back of it on the marble floor! My husband paid a little over $200 for this in the salon, so this price is a STEAL!

Before I bought this product I was using a cheap remington hair dryer. This was my first purchase for a professional hair dryer. After my first use with this dryer, I was amazed. It leaves the hair shiny and soft. Also, I no longer need to flat iron my hair after blow drying. It keeps my hair straight. You cannot BEAT the price of this dryer. My hair salon was selling this dryer for $200!

Don't get me wrong. I noticed a difference in my hair immediately after the first time using it but.... It is not very user friendly. It took me a week to get how the 2 hot/warm/cool/high/low buttons worked. There was no explaintion in the 2 page book that came with it and I still have to mess with the bttons to get the setting I want. Also, it comes with 2 heat concentrators( I have no idea why there are two, they both look the same) but there is no way you could ever find a diffuser to fit on it. It is also way heavier and louder than the pro dryers that are coming out now. Overall, well maufactured but not easy to use.

I had been looking into several different kinds of dryers. I chose this one because it was Ionic and it has alot of power. As a hairdresser I need both of those things. I was using the red Chi dryer and I like the Elchium much better than that one. I was a little worried about how heavy it was, but it isn't as heavy as some of the dryers I have used. It hasn't been a problem at all. Great product and priced lower than all other web sites that I checked. I have already recommended it to clients and friends.

I bought this after reading other reviews and have not been disappointed. Since I'm not one to read instructions anyway, I didn't miss not having them. It's really not as heavy as some have reported.

My hairdresser recommended this exact blowdryer to me. I was so happy to find it at such an incredible price. I have used it and absolutely love it. It has reduced my drying time and leaves my hair smoother than ever. I have curly hair so drying it straight takes some work. I don't even have to use the flat iron after blowing it dry. I called my friend and she ordered this dryer and loves it also.

I have medium legnth, naturally curly hair. This dryer dries my hair a little bit faster, but not that much. I do like that it doesn't heat up the room when I'm drying my hair. It also seems to leave my hair softer. You have to figure out how to use it on your own, instructions aren't in english. But, it's just a hair dryer, so how hard is it?? I will admit that a piece came with it that I have no idea what to do with, or what it is for. But everything is good overall.

This dryer is great! I was going to buy the Bio-Ionic Whisper quiet dryer, but decided on this one at the last minute. It is in Allure magazine as one of the best. It works even better than my travel size bio-ionic. The only bad thing about it is that it is very heavy. My arm is tired from holding it up for the 5 mintes it takes to dry my long hair. Other than that, I love it!! I would highly recommend this!!
