Learning curve involved, but worth the effort
As I have fine hair that DOES NOT keep a curl . . . I have purchased many different curling irons in the past few years . . . the results have been disappointing. But, when I saw this different type of curling iron (maybe I'm behind the times, but I've been "burned" so often by the hype of so many name brand irons, I gave up) and the affordable price, I thought I would take a chance. There is a big learning curve with this type of appliance, and I've been using it for two days now. While I"m still learning, I have to admit, when I went to work today, everyone loved the "curly perm" I got. I told all of them it was a different curling iron and proceeded to describe it. I said the proof would be if my hair would retain the curl throughout the day. It is now after work, I've brushed my hair a number of times, and I still have the curl and fullness I haven't had in my hair in years. Please don't think this was easy to achieve . . . you need to use small sections of hair, and make sure that you don't "crimp" the ends while rolling the barrel. Also, I made sure I used the lowest heat setting available on the iron, and it still curled my hair great. Will I use this every day? Maybe . . . I assume as I get the technique down, it will take me less than 20 minutes to do. But, with the results I got this morning, I will continue to practice!

fun to use
It took a minute to get the hang of it, but I love it! I watched some tutorials online which really helped me figure it out. Now I'm a curling machine!

Great concept. Poor Reality
Simply put, it's difficult to use. I just couldn't get the hang of it. Sent it back.
