Yes, but. . .this chair is good for basic transport, my Mother in-law is comfortable and the 17inch width is easy to maneuver in tight spaces. However, for the attendant, the wheels get stuck a little too much in the uneven cracks on the sidewalk, so we're going to try a transport chair with a little more weight, and larger back wheels. Overall, this is a good buy for basic transport, to and from the car to the Doctor's office or in a shopping mall, but for taking long walks outside- it may be a challenge for the attendant.Read More
I bought this for my 4' 8" tall mother. She is very petite and unable to get around the house on her own. This chair is able to get her through the narrowest of places. She easily fits through all the aisles at department stores and is easily pushed around the apartment and the small bathroom. The value for the quality and appearance are great. It was shipped for free and delivered in just a few days. Easy to get in and out of any vehicle. Thx O.Read More
This wheelchair will fit the need for my 92 year old mother. We will be able to go more places because it is not so cumbersome as the older big wheel one that we had.Read More
Needed a smaller transport chair than the norm. The 17" fits through many doors that the 19" would not go through. This is important for someone who can not walk at all. Searched a long time to find a chair in this smaller size and the stylish plaid was just a BONUS. We are very excited to have found this one!!!Read More
This chair is great. It is very easy to maneuver, lightweight and easy to get in and out of my car. It is well constructed. My mother loves the plaid and everyone comments on how attractive it is. My mother finds it comfortable and actually prefers it to a regular wheel chair.Read More
This wheelchair is great! Nice tan, plaid fabric-like vinyl (easy to keep clean). Our favorite feature is that it is super-lightweight! Fits in all the doors of our house, even the smaller guest-bathroom door. My only wish is that I wish the brakes were easier for the person sitting in the chair to reach, but other than that, it is perfect. So happy with the purchase--have taken it all over town, and my elderly mother says it is very comfortable.Read More

Best Vitamins for Energy
Although the simple act of popping a vitamin will not produce an immediate energy boost, some vitamins help the body more efficiently process food, which can create more energy. The B vitamins are known as energy vitamins. If you consume the right amount of B vitamins, you can experience a boost in your energy levels and improve your overall health. You can get your B vitamins by consuming more meat, beans and potatoes. You can also find B vitamin supplements or choose a multivitamin with a comprehensive variety of B vitamins. Health drinks and energy beverages are also likely to include B vitamins. Production of energy. To understand how B vitamins help the body more efficiently produce energy, take a look at how energy is created. The food you eat is broken down into usable components. Carbohydrates are broken down into sugars, and this is where the body gets most of its energy. The carbohydrates are either used right away or stored in the form of glycogen in the liver or muscles. When the body needs energy, glycogen is released and converted into energy. Vitamin B1. Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine, is essential to the break-down of carbohydrates, alcohols and fat. Cells in the body need thiamine to help store the energy from carbohydrates for later use. In addition, thiamine produces an enzyme that processes carbohydrates. The recommended dosage of vitamin B1 for an adult is between 0.8 milligram and 1.1 milligrams per day. Vitamin B2. Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, is part of the electron transport chain that converts the carbohydrates into energy. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 1.3 milligrams and 1.7 milligrams per day. Vitamin B3. Vitamin B3, or niacin, helps the body with several functions, including digestion and toxin removal. Niacin also helps convert carbohydrates into energy. In addition, niacin creates starch that can be stored for energy later. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 13 milligrams and 19 milligrams per day. Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6, or pyroxidine, is known as the heart-protecting vitamin, and it also boosts energy. Pyroxidine plays a major role in the breakdown of proteins that get turned into energy. Vitamin B6 also helps regulate mood and behavior, which can help you feel more energetic. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 1.6 milligrams and 2 milligrams per day. Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12, also known as cobolamin, is a famous energy vitamin. B12 is required for the production of red blood cells, and it is also necessary for normal cell metabolism. The recommended dosage for adults is 2 micrograms per day. Pregnant women, however, should get 3 micrograms of vitamin B12 per day.
