I saw someone using this or a similar product shopping and knew it would be just the right thing to get my 92 year old Mom out more. She mostly stays at home and we shop for her. When we do shop with her, she likes to walk behind the cart, for steadiness and balance. She's not invalid but appreciates access to a wheelchair if we are touring an area for a while - she doesn't like to stand more than 3-4 minutes.
This is the perfect solution - it's mobile, and easy to carry in the car. Now she is more apt to go shopping with us, or go out with us.
She can walk behind the cart, like a mobile walker; she can sit down when she wants; she can sit while we push her, and there is a place to store her purse or a few purchases. Great functionality.
Feels good, looks good.

This lightweight, easily convertible walker/transport chair solved my problem of fatigue secondary to my multiple sclerosis when on vacations. In the past, when I tired of trying to walk with the walker I had to make my family wait until I could get going again. Now we just switch to transport mode and they can take me right along. It is wider than simple walkers, and does not take the place of a true wheelchair because it is not as sturdy with 8 inch wheels when trying to climb over small elevations when in wheelchair mode (forget cobblestones - you flip straight out of the chair; I am very lightweight and it can tip forward) but it can be incredibly useful on flatter surfaces. Amazing product!

I am so glad I purchased this item! It gives me the option of walking under my own power or allowing friends to push me. There are times when my slow mobility makes me feel as if I am holding up my friends and loved ones. They always say not to worry - but I do. With this wheelchair/rollator I can get the walking I need to preserve that ability and the assistance that is offered to keep everything "rolling" along. I love having the options! I love this product!!

I saw this in a high end Wellness store for $335! The dual function and high quality caught my eye so when I saw this on Overstock for $$$$I knew I had to get it for my Mom. She loves it and now has independence and her own seat when she gets tired and now I don't worry so much about her falling with her Parkinson's!

the chair is good both for walking and transporting which are the main reasons i purchased it for my mom. its really smooth pushing her around. she likes it because it has the breaks and feels more secure walking on her own. the one medicare paid for didn't come with any breaks .just the bare minimum. so this is definitely an upgrade.

Hi oknan, we apologize for the confusion. This unit does require minimal assembly. This unit comes in 3 pieces including the wheels and pouch. These pieces need to be assembled either in rollator position or transport position by simply attaching the pieces together. We will add assembly required to the product details. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. overstockcustomercare1 on Jul 8, 2014
