Deluxe Gel Wheelchair Seat Cushion
I bought this cushion for use while sitting for extended periods on a hard wooden chair rather than a wheelchair. I find it is extremely comfortable to sit on for long periods and I'm sure it would be very comfortable for wheelchair users. I have used it several times and it is very effective cushioning and redistributing weight - it also appears to be very durable, always regaining its shape after use. Haven't examined it's insides, or needed to wash the cover yet, but I would guess the gel is sandwiched between foam pads. This product is saving my butt, literally!

A fair product
I received the cushion in less than one week after ordering it. It is a well made product with a gel insert that molds to your shape when you sit on it. However, the material that covers it is plastic and very slick. This makes it hard to use because of constantly sliping and sliding on it. Other than that oversight, the product is very comfortable and would most definitely make sitting for long periods much better.

TOO SLIPPERY. i KEPT SLIDING AROUND.
For handicapped people, it s a challenge to not slide around and slip off.
