I am on a "Made in the U.S.A." campaign. The folks in Missouri sure know how to build a sturdy scale! I am tired of the imported from China stuff that falls apart after a few uses, eating my hard earned money. This scale does not disappoint. It it heavier than I anticipated which is a good thing. It looks absolutely great in my bathroom. It matches what the weight watchers scale weights each week. It was a little bit of a bugger getting the bottom hook attached with the assembly but the rest of the equipment assembled easily. I found hooking a rubber band around the hook and pulling down keeps the hook in place allowing your to move the bar forward to attach. Worked like a charm. It is helping the rest of my family, who do not belong to weight watchers, track their weight loss each week. I even found out I've shrunk an inch from the last time my height was measured 40 years ago. This scale is even much nicer than most of my MD's have in their offices. Very nice piece of eq...
