I have had this product for a few months. I waited to write a review to see if it kept giving the results I first experienced. I can tell you - I would not give it up now. I have very sensitive skin and I need to use two nights before (usually Friday) I "have to be seen", but it's like a mini face lift for me. Don't get me wrong, I can put on makeup and look fine the next day, but to go without makeup I need more time. This is my "little secret" when people comment on how good my skin looks!!

I've had mine for over a year, and I should have reviewed it long ago. It's one of those things that really works like the professionals use. Once you use it for a few weeks you will see a big difference. One thing that I notice is the clearing of my pores in a way that I don't think you can get any other way. It's the real thing!

This is a great product! I was also skeptical before purchasing, but after reading the other great reviews I thought it would be worth a try. I noticed results right after I used it once. Before using it, I had some acne scarring on my cheeks but the morning after I used it the night before, I could barely tell there were scars--the discoloration was almost faded completely! I was shocked! I am already hooked and I'm excited to see the results after a few more uses.

I saw this here one day after having a professional treatment and paying a lot more than this machine was. It looked very similar and so I ordered it. Order one yourself. I am very impressed with how easy it is to use with the very same results and a fraction of the cost. I have control and at the same time I can also do the backs of my hands and my forearms. My skin is now as soft as a childs. That's proof in the package for me. My lotions and creams now soak in quite quickly and brown age spots are getting much lighter already after only 3 treatments. I'm telling all my friends.

Wow! That is the best one-word review I can think of. I have some scarring (pock-mark, ice-pick) on my cheeks and chin all the way back to right in from of my ear lobes on my neck from acne when I was a teen. I got about 6 professional microderm treatments about 4-5 years ago and it improved my self image so much that I was considering having it done again. I looked around and decided to try this since the price for this is less than 1 professional treament. After one treatment I can already tell such a marked difference! I feel so much prettier today than yesterday! I can only imagine How good I will feel after 8 treatments that came with the set! My skin is fairly rough, thick textured and extremely oily. Not only does it feel AND look smoother today it has not been nearly as oily!! (That is the same results I got from the professional treatments). I would have to say that comparing the Prof. treatments and the Dermapower - the quality is equal!!! But, Derampower is the winner because it's more affordable!!!!! I was always so self conscious when people were standing or sitting beside me. And in meeting I would always try to sit with my back to windows to reduce natural light on my face which seemed to make it look worse. Not anymore! Thank you to the makers!! I am thinking of buying another one as a back up!!

I was a little leary about this machine when I got it, but I am so happy that I found it. I no longer pay 150 dollars every two weeks to have microdermabrasion done in the salon. I get the same results that I used to get, only now I do it myself. My skin is softer and the texture is more even. Thanks Overstock!

This product is amazing! Unlike other so-called home microdermabraders,this one uses aluminum oxide AND suction. I've done 3 treatments and already there's a difference.

I bought this 6 months ago. I have not had to have a professional demabration done since I started using this machine. What a savings. I would be lost without this!!! Well worth it

I bought this a few months ago and have been using it and I see no improvement in the condition of my skin at all.

Rather than pay for M. D. treatments, I thought I'd try this myself (I'm a boomer who's not going out easy!). So far, I believe I see a difference and it's well worth a try. It's very easy to use and much cheaper than a face lift!

I have used this once and immediately saw how this was going to dramatically improve my skin. It was somewhat uncomfortable, and a little difficult to see what areas had been treated. But that's the worse I can say about it. But dont purchase this thinking you can use it and see results the next day. It took me a week to get rid of the redness and flaking skin as a result of the treatment. But once the recovery was over I had really smooth skin and the texture was slightly better. I cant wait to see the results after several treatments!

The machine is good, but the instructions are not detailed enough for someone who has never had a professional treatment before. I have been getting professional microdermabrasion treatments for years so I know that there should be suction of the tip against the skin so that the disc rotates against the skin surface. IF the machine is held against the skin properly. A suction should be achieved and a fine trail of sand should be left behind after passing it over the skin. I STRONGLY recommend that anyone buying the machine get a professional microdermabrasion treatment first, so that you can see what the proper treatment feels like and how its done. done properly, this machine is great. I use it every 5 days on my face, neck, hands, elbows knees and feet. The set of replacement discs is also a good value.

This really works. I've had MD treatments. This works just as well, for a lot less money. Do read the excellent instructions and follow them. My little machine has held up for a whole year.

I've spent a lot of money over the years on microdermabrasion treatments at a doctor's office. This product is the real deal! I'm happy to see they are selling it to consumers. Read the directions and follow them carefully! This is a great product and you see results quickly! Thanks!!!

Basically sandpaper discs for your face. Very expensive to replace discs. Left suction and burn marks around eyeline if left in one place too long. Used a few times then put away. Takes too long to do entire face.

I bought this item based on reviews, before any bad reviews were posted. This product is pretty much a waste of time and money. I used it regulalrly for months, and it definitely does NOT live up to its claims. It is NOT as effective as microdermabrasion performed in a doctor's office, and even that procedure has limitations. While it does exfoliate the skin, it doesn't do anything beyond that. Frankly, using a good exfoliating cream/scrub- or even a gentle washcloth- is more effective, less expensive, and less time-consuming. The claim that it helps smooth surface irregularities is beyond minimal. As for the claims that it helps bloodflow, increases cellular production, and stimulates collagen production deep within the skin- well, if it does that, I have yet to see the results after months of use. Additionally, the quality of the device is unimpressive. It seems kind of cheaply made, the suction device sometimes pops off, and the rough surface on the disks also frequently come off right away- sometimes just after placing one inside of the unit. All in all- save your money! This product is an ineffective, over-priced for the quality, waste of money and time.

I really like it. Seems well made and leaves my skin soft and smooth. No problems. Skin is mostly clear now but since acne can be an issue, I like the fact that I can clear the dead skin off which seems to help my face to "breath" better. The vacuum is strong. My only concern is that it could stretch the skin a little?

Considering the price of a microdermabrasion treatment, this machine is worth every scent. Similar to the other reviews of this product, it is helpful to know what a spa treatment feels like so that you are familiar with the level of suction required to use the machine properly. I have had six treatments so far and my skin is much clearer of those pesky blackheads and filled pores. Now I can spend my "pampering" money on other things. A must have.

I do go to a posh medical spa every 2 weeks for a microdermabrasion and chemical peel combo, so I considered buying a 3k$ machine, but I ran across this little gem and thought why not...It does work on the same idea, abrasion and suction. When you get your's ,be sure to only go over the same area ONCE and Glide it quickly, it's skin not wood after all. I'm 41 and look 27, I credit good genes, great skincare, *otox and my Dermapower!
