I had this same heating pad I bought from another shopping site and loved it! It has a nice temperature control and 4 settings. My other one shut itself off in 2 hours and this one appears to be 1 hour, but once it did not shut off at all so just keep an eye on it! The only reason I had to replace is that one of my kitties thought he would stretch his nails on and ruined it. Good thing he did not zap himself! I have read that people have returned a lot of these because of the strong plastic or burning smell of it which I did not have on the first one I bought but did on this one. I found I would keep an eye on it and found out that the smell goes away after 3-5 uses! It is worth keeping if the control functions stay working. Like the size...not too big..not too small!
