really magnifies!
This is a 10x magnification, so you have to be with in 6 inches of mirror or your image is blurred. It is awesome for plucking and poping. If you want a mirror for hair and make up I would suggest a 7x magnification.

Queenie is happy
Purchased this for my wife who had been complaining that she couldn't see well enough to put on her make up. We went back and forth on what magnification to go with. After a quick trip to a local retailer we decided to go with the 10X. It's perfect. You can see things that you didn't know were there. I use it too to help with grooming. I mounted it on the left wall to the sink/mirror and ran the power cord behind the vanity mirror to an outlet which was just right of the mirror/sink. Perfection! Queenie is happy.

Perfect!!!
I purchased this mirror about 6 months ago and I LOVE it! Maybe it's my 50-something eyes, but now I can finally see all those crazy eyebrow dilenquents that need plucked! This is not the mirror to use to apply your general make-up but I use it for tweezing and then for my eyelashes and eyebrows. You can see everything and I love it. The quality of the mirror is great. Even my husband uses this mirror every once in a while. Getting 'old' is OK when you can finally see what is going on and fix it! Overstock.com is a great company. They never disappoint me!

Met all of my expectations
I have wanted one of these mirrors since I used one at a swanky hotel. This is just like the one I used, and it does everything I hoped for. I will say that it is quite a shock to see this old face at 10X, but that's what I asked for!!

Very happy with this mirror. I use it all the time. It lights and magnifies and is good for tweezing, plucking, and all those things my eyes aren't good enough for anymore.

nice, easy to install
Nice looking , good quality. Only issue need to get in so close difficult to maneuver. That said its been a good addition to our MBR.

good mirror
The mirror is nice-looking and sturdy. It comes with an additional bulb which is nice. It's very easily mounted. The only thing I wish was more clear, is that the mirror only has one side which is the magnified side. There is no other side with a regular un-magnified mirror, kind of a downer. The lighting is pretty decent compared to other mirrors I've purchased. All in all, it was a good buy.
