I bought this mirror mainly for the magnified side, which in this case was 12X, to be able to put on makeup without eyeglasses. In my case, the 12X magnification is a bit too strong (probably should have looked for 6X) so it takes more effort to focus the mirror to get a clear image.

I am in that age group where I cannot see well enough anymore to see mascara spots when I put on my makeup... the magnification on this one is a bit more than what I needed! It is so BIG that I have to get right up against it to be able to focus. Not the mirrors fault, mine for ordering one that had to much "blow up". If you need huge amounts of magnification, this one is for you; I am going to look for one that isn't quite as strong, but in the meantime this works.

This mirror is excellent and the clarity is perfect. I purchased both the 10x and 12 x and am happy with both. Perfect.

I got the mirror and had to send it back because it was very filmy (streaks all through it) they sent me a different one and that one is filmy also. Would not recommend this mirror to anyone. Very disappointed.

Awesome - light and easy to carry around. The magnification is even enough for my eyes!

Although it is expensive for what it is (a plastic mirror); it still does the job. It's not easy to find a 10x mirror in a small size.

Had I completely realized what 12x magnification was, I would not have ordered this product. I wear glasses all the time and have a 2.5+ magnification. The magnification of the mirror is so great, I was unable to use it to apply mascara. An 8x would probably have been plenty. I would recommend this only to someone whose vision is so poor that they cannot see without glasses/contacts; it would work well for their purposes. There was nothing wrong with the product.
