Positive Review: It really does work I was a bit skeptical but after using this for a couple of weeks, it does seem to help with the thumb pain. The nice thing is that it is comfortable to hold and is easy to place over areas that need relief.

works great! Light weight and compact for travel. I find it provides some relief for knee pain and I've been able to cut back a little on using Ibuprofen. The auto shut off is a nice safety feature. I use it once daily and it has provided some relief. Good noninvasive and drug-free way to treat arthritis.

Magic Wand I pulled several mucles and had some nerve damage. I applied the wand to each area leaving it on the painful area for 14 minutes and the pain was cut in half to each area. It made the rest of my day tolerable. Great product!

I used this for pain and got no heat generated enough to help. Use a hot pad instead. As far as wrinkles, no, this is not strong enough. Overstock does have another one for about ****. That one needs to be used every day abot 5 minutes and continued to be used. That will help for minor fine lines. A firnd has that one. You need o keep up he reamentsa though or you will see the sagging start.

How does this wavelength differ from the DPL therapy system. would it also work for wrinkles?

1. The DPL Therapy (panel) System has 174 infrared LED’s – 154 880nm infrared & 20 660nm red LEDs that get to 4 joules per cm 2- it has a footprint (treatment area) of 9 inches x14 inches 2. The DPL Nüve Handheld has 60 LED’s – 54 880nm infrared & 4 660nm red LEDs that get to 26 joules per cm 2 – it is a 4 inch diameter (covers a smaller area than the panels) and due to the higher concentration of LEDs in the smaller area get to a higher joule rating. The nanometer of the infrared and red is in the wavelength range (630nm & 660nm Red - 830nm & 880nm infrared) for both pain and beauty applications. Both systems are designed and have the wavelength and joule rating for pain applications

For a Laser or Light Emitting Diode (LED), the wavelength of light is extremely important since the wavelength ultimately decides the penetration depth in the target tissue. Red light from a 660 nm continuous-wave has a penetration rate much greater than from other hair lasers closer to the lower end of the red spectrum (630 - 650 nanometers).
