Assembly required
These rain chimes have a beautiful sound, but the assembly and directions were not good. You have to be very careful when adding the balls because you have one plastic plate out. The thing they don't warn you about is that the wooden sides are not stable during this process. After spilling all the balls on a messy floor and swearing a bit I ended up gluing in the wooden sides and that helped a great deal. You also have to use daily to break it in. The sound is quite lovely and I would recommend it I just wish it came more assembled.

Rains like a gentle rainfall
The "rain" drops do not fall quickly. I am sure after time and the double stick pad is more worn the beads will more quickly. But it is still a beautiful product!

Pleasant sound
I read some of the negative reviews and don't agree. It wasn't hard at all to assemble and the quality is very good. The chimes do start off slow, but after a few times sounds very nice. I keep it on my desk and when not in the mood for music I simply turn it over and it starts its lovely little chiming. Sounds like a set of little church bells. I'm very happy with my purchase. Only negative is that I wanted a different color that was unavailable, but you don't sit and look at it and it sounds the same.

Rain chime order not complete.
I expected that my rain chime would come with two extra sets of sticky circles. If you could find a couple of extra sets of three circles, I would be very happy with my order.
