This seems to curl the hair great, but I'm not very good at using this type of curling iron. As far as I can tell, I got a great deal, the curl keeps for a while and when done right, is super cute.

I would definitely recommend the CHI Air curling iron. I did a good bit of research into the best kind of curling iron to get and ended up deciding on this one. I had been using a crappy $$$ curling iron for years and it was frying my hair. There is definitely a noticeable difference now that I am using the CHI. My wife loves this iron...she has thick, coarse hair, and the high temperature that is available works great on her hair. It makes curls without any frizz, and the curls last.

I always assumed "Chi" was top of the line. Not so with this curling iron. It only heats to 300 degrees by the LED indicator This iron did not heat enough to curl my hair. Either this was an erroneous readout or the iron itself was not functioning properly. The $* **** I bought at local grocery store worked better.

Every time i use this i get so many compliments on my hair! However, i suggest getting a heating bad to set it on because its impossible to set it down without burning your furniture.
