This is a good product and I like the fact that it heats up very quickly. It is easy to handle. The only drawback for me is that the 3/4 inch barrel is a little larger than I thought it would be. I ended up ordering a 1/2 inch barrel curling iron from the same company. In both cases the price is much better than in the stores

I had bought this iron approximately 2-3 years ago and really loved it. I used it everyday and the barrel was not holding tight anymore. I bought the same iron because I was so pleased with the performance of the iron. This iron preforms very well. The iron goes up to 400 degrees which is really hot but you can set the iron at a lower temperature. The 1 inch barrel is perfect for bigger loose looking curls; its also good for tight curls if that is your preference. The iron is also very easy to use and it is equipped with helpful features to avoid burns (e.g. the tip of the barrel does not get hot). It was disappointing that I could only choose from two colors. This iron is thumbs up all the way.

I like this curling iron. I got this one after I used my friend's conair .5 inch clip curling iron. The clipless technology is pretty easy to master. It heats up in about 1-2 minutes and cools down in probably 5. I have fine-medium hair and it curls pretty well, though the curls don't stay very tight. It does give my hair quite a bit of volume and the curls stay all day. Overall, I'll keep it.

I have this curling iron now for over 2 years and I am very happy with it. It works everytime. My hair really looks like I am visiting some expensive salon on daily basis. It does not damage it at all. I have fine hair and it is gentle to it. I use it min 3 times a week. Also have the 1/2 inch curling iron and 2 inch flat iron. Hot Tools Rocks (i sound like I work for them...LOL)

Curling iron gets hot very fast, stays hot. Has multiple settings but I always use the hottest one.My hair is VERY straight - thick and medium length - and literally cannot hold a curl for its life. But this curling iron, when holding it to different chunks of hair after hair spraying my hair first (and also after the curl is set), works!I will probably end up buying a 1 1/2 inch iron too now that my hair is getting longer, but this brand is great and has shown to live up to my expectations. (I also have used their straighteners which are great.)Be careful though - I burned myself twice not paying attention, and it's HOT!

This arrived so fast. I have been looking for an iron that's as good as my last. I have long, course, thick hair. Nothing keeps a curl in my hair. The minute this arrived I plugged it in. It got hot fast. LOVED IT! The iron is big enough and comfortable to work with.Comes with extra springs too. I'm getting the 2" inch next.;-)

I like this curling iron for long hair, but the spring on mine was a bit stiff and left crimp marks in the curls. I'm going to leave it for a while and use my Karmin G3 clipless curling iron to see the difference in results. So far the hot tools is ok, but I have a feeling that karmin will be safer as it doesnt have the clip

Hot Tools is the best brand for curling irons I have found. This is my 3rd one, and they are very dependable. Very high quality product. I checked Amazon before I purchased this one from Overstock. Overstock was several dollars cheaper than Amazon and shipping was very fast.

I love CHI products. They are some of the best in the hair industry. I purchased the waver thinking it would create big flowing waves. Not exactly. It really creates a krimped look. Not bad, just different than expected. Still like the look and it works really fast for krimping. If you are looking for big bouncy waves, better off with the 1 1/2 inch curling iron.Bought that too and it is FABULOUS!

It gives great body and volume. Probably better for long hair because it is such a large barrel.

It arrived so fast! I love that about ordering on Overstock! I gave it four stars only because it seems like it is an older model from a couple years ago. Otherwise it is exactly what I was expecting.

I've had the non-ceramic version of this for years, but the spring (even though they provide replacement springs) has always been a problem. It catches on it's roller, so the clamp doesn't always close tightly when you want it to. Anyway, thought I'd try the ceramic version, as it's supposed to be kinder to the hair - and am hoping maybe the coating will help with the spring problems, too. So far, so good. I don't know of any other brand that makes a 2" barrel, so I don't have a lot of options. I love the huge size as I use it for basically straightening my hair, but with a slight turn under at the ends. This has a full range of heat options from slightly warm to VERY hot. I keep it somewhere in the middle. It's comfortable in the hand and does the job I bought it for. No complaints. I've only had it for a couple of weeks so I can't speak to it's longevity, but I've had good luck with this brand in the past so I'm optimistic! It's too soon for a 5 star rating, but ask me again in a year or so!

I'm in love with this crimper! My two year old has always had a TON of hair and sometimes it gets hard to do. When I crimp her hair, people are always doting over her!! It's super easy, fast and adorable. The 80's are making a come back (for kids).
