    I bought this iron about 8 months ago, after the one I'd used for 6 years finally died. One day, it showed on, but was only slightly warm. I moved the iron around, and it finally heated up. After about 3 days of struggling to find the right position where it would heat up fully, it finally failed to heat period. It did work well, while it worked. You get what you pay for. When my other iron died after years of use, I was desperate to find a new one, and bought this model at a local store. Shopping for a new and better model here on Overstock.
