difficult directions This sound therapy machine works well as that--or as an alarm clock-- but not both. We use the sound therapy function all night to block out traffic noise on our busy urban street. However, we haven't figured out how to use the sound therapy function *and* the birdsong alarm. It seems that it is either/or. I ended up buying another alarm clock. However-- if you want to block out sound or if you want a gentle alarm, this machine will work well.

Just Keep Looking The sounds are nice but the contrast is horrible. I read the reviews and thought maybe people were too picky. I could not see the time because the contrast is too close (and I have 20/20 vision). It's like looking at blue on blue. Get this product only if you are looking for a machine that makes nature sounds.
