Conair Infiniti 1-inch Nano Ceramic Hair Straightener

I sought out and purchased this straightener based on the many, many years of daily use of my old Conair Infinity straightener (it was a stressful, sad day when it "passed"). Overstock, as always, had a great price on the product. It's a much newer model from my old Infinity, and so far, I really like it. The only complaint I might have is that it doesn't seem to be able to smoosh down as "tight" on my hair as my old Infinity, and I believe this is due to it having longer plates and the grip is a bit different when I hold it. That said, however, I'm still very pleased with how it helps style my hair. Please note that I have naturally straight hair and only use the straightener to smooth stray hairs and give some slight direction and bend to my bangs and side, face-framing layers. I cannot speak to this straighter for those that have curly hair. :)
