    During the holidays my sister in law allowed me to test her mat and I immediately fell in love with this wonderful mat. I tried all the different speeds and intensity ,I loved it!!!!!!. She still had the box it came in so I immediately and joyfully went to Overstock to order mine. I have ordered from Overstock in the past so I know of their high quality of merchandise. This has done wonders for me . It`s so soothing and relaxing. I love the heated massages. Also I can choose from head to feet which areas to focus on.     Disappointing "massage" -- I was expecting more than just vibration but that's all it is. Also, the heat is only one little part of the mat around the shoulders. I would've liked it to include mid- and lower back and legs. If you want a nicely made vibrating mat with heat on the shoulders, this product is fine. It does have various settings for the vibration that you can control and 10 vibration nodes. Not what I was hoping for though so I'm returning it.

    I bought one for Christmas for myself and am buying two more for back-ups today. I have had many massage pads over the years. This is BY FAR the softest and most effective. The only drawback is it shuts off more quickly than I would like-between 15 and 20 minutes depending on setting chosen. I use a heating pad on it so I don't use the heat function but the massage is wonderful. It gives a deep massage but more gentle a Shiatsu and the the motors hit in exactly the right spots. In other words "I love it".

    • Yes. There is a 15 minute timer for safety purposes as people tend to drift off to sleep on the mat. The mat should only be used for a maximum of 2 session at 15 minutes each for a total of 30 minutes. After that, please allow mat to “cool down” for about 20 minutes, then it may be used again. This was designed for safety for the consumer as well as preservation of the unit in not overheating the motors on the massage components and heat mechanism.
