This is a phone for someone who is visually impaired or blind, but it is just too complicated for many elderly people to use. The screen is difficult to read with my good eyes, never mind my Mother's impaired eyes. The directions are overly complicated, the menus are not at all intuitive, the buttons lack really good tactile features, and the "voice" is hard to understand. Stephen Hawking's "old technology" voice is easier to understand. I really would not recommend this for someone who is aurally or visually impaired, and I especially would not buy this for someone who has memory issues or has difficulty learning how to use new "gadgets."
