This is a heavy massage chair. It would be best suited for young atheletes after a strenuous work-out however. The back massage motor is very strong and prominent. Since the chair is low to the floor, one must bend down to get into it and then get up again! I find it useful to put a pillow up against the back to prevent soreness of muscles. Also, there is no foot rest so you must put up an ottoman or something if you want your legs elevated. The chair does not go into a full recline nor does it have any seat massage. I would not recommend this for anyone over 50 or with any sensitive muscular conditions. It does not reach the low back well. It does have a 'lock' system which prevents kids from messing around with it which is a great idea. It's also well padded with wide arm rests; a comfortable seat.

We have wanted an iJoy chair for years, and this purchase doesn't disappoint. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble.

I ordered this chair and by the time it arrived it was the wrong color as well as broken. I packed the 70lb chair up again and left it for UPS to pick up and awaited my new one. It came in today, and I moved all 70lbs of it upstairs into my home to find that they had again, sent the wrong color. Luckily it was in working order and I am so impressed with the iJoy that I will keep it versus going through the hassle of returning it for the proper color. Unfortunately, all Overstock was willing to do in exchange for this inconvenience was give me a 10% discount which works out to a measly $40. For a mistake twice, especially on a piece of furniture, that is unacceptable. I tried an iJoy before and was so impressed at how well it helped out my very achey and very knotty back. I have been searching for this exact chair for sometime now at a decent price and was excited when I found it here. I already used it once today and think I'll use the "full" program before bed again. Despite the items address above, absolutely in love with it.

This was a gift for my husband & he LOVED it! He loved that it actually gives a massage instead of just vibrating like the others that we had found. It was more than I had wanted to spend, but definetly worth it!
