    This has a wonderful smell....my only complaint is the design of the bottle. It doesn't stand upright. If you lay it flat on a dresser, it spins, so it could easily get knocked on to the floor and break.

  • The soap guy surrenders

    My stepfather is 49 yr old career military man and has never worn a cologne one day in his entire life. Seriously, the man thinks a guy should smell like soap and nothing more. But I nagged and nagged him and he finally agreed to go to the mall and try out a few scents. And he found this. And absolutely adored it. After I fainted in shock that he found a cologne he actually liked and would agree to wear, he then turned around and nearly fainted because of the mall's price tag. The soap guy simply could not justify the retail price. So I hopped onto Overstock and voila! He now smells awesome and my wallet is still full. So on to the scent itself: Aqua Marine is a clean, fresh manly cologne that yes, turned a bald Marine into a bald Marine wearing Aqua Marine. Even though the base notes are floral with citrus, this scent isn't remotely 'sweet'. It's not your grandpa's musky Old Spice by any means, but with all that floral in Aqua Marine's scent profile, it could be misleading--this is a tad woodsier a cologne than it may seem. All I know is I couldn't see any dude not really digging it. It's too unique and refreshing not to try. Especially at Overstock's amazing price. Give it to the 'soap guy' in your life and see what happens. As a happy daughter to my stepdad, I must remain appropriate so I cannot go as far as to say he now smells 'sexy'. I'll leave that one up to my mom, but needless to say we both think he smells DELICIOUS. And so far no teasing from the boys at HQ. So all around, a total success.
