Although greasy, when used before going to bed this Burt'sBees Farmer's Friend Salve works magic on my sore fingers. I do a lot of hand applique and quilting and need to replenish the moisture in my hands and heal the pinpricks. Farmer's Friend does both.

I live in a desert climate zone and my hands frequently crack and bleed from the low humidity. With winter coming and the heater on full blast, I am doing all I can to protect myself. This little tub of salve is the best natural protection that I've found for the money. A dab on the affected areas last all day. It's got a pleasant herbal smell too. It is a little greasy, but I'm don't polish glass for a living so it's not an issue. If you have dry, chapped hands, I highly recommend the hand salve for your remedy.
