It only takes a small amount for your hair...The fragrance is nice and mild,so when people are around it is not noticeable..I would definitely recommend this as a pre-shampoo treatment, as well as everyday maintenance.I live in the south and summers are very hot and curly hair has a tendency to dry out from the sun and humidity, so this product really has helped me with that...Fall and winter brings a lot of wind so I know it will help with my maintenance.
