So i have bought many different salt lamps from many different companies and Black Tai Brand Salt Lamps are the best! The other guys are salt rock. no benefits and are made very cheaply. Black Tai products are the most detailed i have seen. The items are perfect, the bases are always buffed and they only ship FedEx!

Got this for my sister for Christmas - it was the hit of of the evening!! It's a gorgeous hunk of rock (heavy, too) that glows when the light is turned on. The base is wooden, which is nice, and the cord is long enough to reach an outlet pretty much from anywhere. The on/off switch is convenient as well. This is just a lovely piece for the person who has everything! We also ordered the round smooth rock and figured we'd decide which we liked better when we got them. We love them both, and are keeping the round rock for our bedroom. These are really nice pieces of art and make great conversation pieces! Don't hesitate to purchase!! I bought 4 of these to go with turkish towels, champagne, and bath salts for a combo Christmas present for each of my daughters. They are beautiful coloring and I'm sorry I didn't get one for myself! They arrived in great condition and I can't wait to see their reaction over the holidays. Something everyone else has for sure!!!

The only thing I would change after buying this would be the cord. I ordered lights to fit this lamp from another site so if you cant find them in the store, go on line. Cord would be great if it was one to dim at night, one enclosed was on/off

This is a lot smaller than expected for the price. I have seen others that friends have and they are a lot bigger and they paid less money. Very disapointed in this order!!

This lamp is really great, the concept of it, is that as the salt rock warms up, it makes this really nice fresh scent, kind of the smell of after it rains. But this is suppose to 'clean' the air around you. I bought a bunch of little ones off of ****, but this one much larger, and really nice, they look like art. The glow that it casts is beautiful. I leave mine on all the time, so the salt remains warm.

Sending these back. I purchased three and was dissapointed with all three. The larger of the threee was so light in color as to be the lightest shade of pink bordering on white. I wanted the darker color displayed in the picture. The other two "smaller" salt lamps looked like the larger one with one third of the top cut off. The smaller two did not have a natural shape but had a flat cut across the top and are also very light pink. The larger one will light up a bedroom at night if that is what you are looking for. Too bad.

I bought this lamp as a birthday gift for a friend...but now that It has arrived, I think I will keep this for myself, and order an additional lamp for my friend - birthday isn't for another month! It arrived safely packaged. It did need to be wiped off with a dry cloth, and I wiped off the base with a slightly damp cloth - to remove the loosened salt. Once I did this, I installed a bulb from my dining room chandelier, and it is just beautiful! Just having this beautiful lamp glowing in my family room makes me feel happy and peaceful - already good for my health! Thank you, Overstock!

I was very pleased when I received the lamp. Very unique, and amazingly looks like the picture.

I work both in and out of my home, and my home office is close to the kitchen..Every so often, smells would travel, but no more. The air in my kitchen is always fresh and clean because of this wonderful lamp. So, I bought one for my other office and again, fresh and clean. Two of my clients are now buying one and of course I told them about overstock...the only way to buy these days. And yes, the package is beaten up but not the lamp...and the light bulb can be found at one of the large hardware stores...not to worry.

had this large one by my bed but seemed to dry my face out. Moved it further away. Now have small one next to my bed. A Great buy...pretty and effective

This was a Christmas gift I purchased and I thought it looked so unique that I ordered one for myself as well. The early Christmas gift was raved over by my friend, and I absolutely love mine as well. You can't beat the shipping charge for such a heavy item. As always with Overstock it arrived promptly. It is my favorite gift to myself. :-) It has a lovely pink glow. It did not come with any instructions or a light, but it was fairly easy to figure it out on your own.

I have been thinking of ordering one of these lamps for a couple of years. I had not thought of checking Overstock for this item. Luckily, I got notice of it in an e-mail advertisement. At this price, more than one is affordable! It will be an unusual gift and a great addition to my classroom. It works in clearing in the air and is attractive. No down-side, in my opinion. Also, I thought that shipping would be slow on this item because of its weight: that was not the case.

I've heard of salt lamps as well as visited a salt cave - there's one right here in Chicago! I know from that the healing effects of salt. Package arrived safe and double boxed with tons of foam peanuts. Product itself - I swear within a few hours, I was breathing easier, but it's very subtle. At the very least it's a very beautiful night light that resembles a fire with the warm glow.

Afrter receiving the lamp I was worried. When it arrived the package looked like it had gone thru a war. Inside the lamp was okay not damaged at all. Plugged it in and have been very satisfied with it.

This is a great salt lamp at a great price! The lamp is large and works great at getting rid of allergens in the air. No nasal problems in the morning, and no filters to clean and buy anymore. Just plug in the lamp, and go.

Love this lamp, the glow it provides is beautiful. Very easy to add a 25W candelabra bulb, then plug and turn on. I have mine set to a timer for auto on and off. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed. It arrived in a torn box. The salt rock had black smudges all over and was CRAMBLING. A 2''x4'' piece of rock was sticking out making no sense and spoiling the whole picture. No bulb or instructions were included. The only thing I am satisfied with is the color.
