I have long, thick, curly hair. This is the only gel that works for me. It is a bit crunchy, but worth every penny. It gives me defined curls for three days. Day 1 is crunchy. Day 2 is perfect. Day 3 is just a bit of frizz. Then wash. I have tried many gels, and this is the only one that gives me the defined curls I like. It's more expensive than other gels, but it allows me to wash my hair left often, making the price equal to a less expensive gel, saving me time, and making my hair healthier in the long run. The only thing is, I wouldn't call it "sculpting gel." There's really no sculpting after it's dry. It's just crunchy at first. However, true sculpting gels, in my opinion, are too sticky to touch and never really dry. I'd highly recommend this gel to anyone with long, thick, curly hair.

Very stiff. Re-styling very easy...just spritz and restyle, fluff or flatten....it all works! I like to put it on towel tried hair and when it's totally dry, run my fingers through it to break up the really stiff parts. It keeps it's hold perfectly, even then. My husband uses it on his silky fine hair and loves the total hold. Another big plus, no flaking.

I love this gel. It's impossible to find in the small size so I'm thrilled to find it here on O.co. I have baby fine short hair and have used this product for years and years. (I can't remember how many years ago I discovered it so I will say 7+ years.) It does not leave a tacky feel to my hair after using and does not weigh down my extremely fine hair. I looked high and low to find the perfect product for me and this is it! I told my hair stylist about it and she has used it on my hair and for her other clients for years, too. If you have short, fine hair, I'm confident recommending this product to you.

The Rock Hard Gellee is much cheaper through Overstock and the same excellent quality as in the beauty and drugstores. I was excited to finsd it at this bargain price!

I have really thick curly hair which tends to frizz. This is probably the best styling gel I've ever used. The value is excellent as well. The only drawback is the dispensing - it's hard to get out of the bottle, it needs some kind of a pump.

I have fine curly hair and a lot of it that is below my shoulders. My hair is dry and has a tendency more often than not to frizz with our ever changing weather. This gel works wonders for my hair. It is highly rated on naturallycurly.com (that is why I decided to try it). I apply it after a leave-in conditioner being careful to smooth it over all my hair. I let it air dry or diffuse it. I usually have some crunchiness once it's dried. All I do is gently scrunch out the crunch using my hands. Give my hair a good shake upside down and flip it back. My hair is very shiny, curls defined and no to hardy any frizz. Great product. I highly recommend it.

I love Biolage products, although I should have ordered the medium hold. The rock hard gelee is exactly what it says! I have a lot of hair so I need to use a lot of gel, but using a lot makes me hair feel like straw. I started using less and it seems to work ok. Will get the medium hold next time
