I really like this iron - the only thing I still have trouble with is frizzy/staticky hair. It can curl, which I really like - and straighten! That way I don't need one straightener and one curler, which for both I could pay just as much as I did for just this one. Also, at my local salon they want to charge me twice as much for this straightener. Great deal online! I love how long the cord is! I'm still learning to use, but it is supposed to do 4 or 5 different styles. I do wish the iron came with a how-to guide on styling.

i bought this for my daughter for christmas and she love, love, loves it. she has very thick, curly hair and it has always taken her forever to straighten it. not only does it take her half the time to complete, but her hair feels as smooth as silk. she is now enjoying wearing her hair down and has received compliments from friends regarding how nice her hair looks. her only complaint is that she wished there were better directions explaining how to use it to create curls. otherwise, great product at a great price, great job overstock!

Purchased this for my daughter which was recommended by a hairdresser. As we all know, flat irons are necessary for the shine and smooth hair teenagers want. We had a much cheaper brand before and my daughter paid the price - broken, damaged hair. Once she received her new flat iron, she immediately saw a difference. So did everyone else. Her hair looks great and no more frizz or damage. It is actually softer and stays straighter longer. She and I are very satisfied with this purchase. Overstock.com had the best price too!
