    The stones are what I expected, but the wood box that they came in was cracked and the bottom board was coming off. I had to glue the box back together, that was cheaper, faster, and easier than tring to return it and wait for another one that could be in the same shape. The box that they come in is not very sturdy for carrying rocks.

    All would have been fine except that the box was broken and/or unglued at every joint, one stone was broken into two pieces, and the larger stones are smaller than I had expected. I would recommend this to a friend, but with a warning about condition and stone size. For the price, it is OK.

    Purchased this for warm stone massage therapy. This set is used in addition to river stones I already had. Retains the heat well, feels good in your hand while using; just the right size for arms, legs, feet & hand massage therapy. These are carved & polished basalt stones in a beautiful bamboo box. Have told my fellow massage therapists that are looking for additions to their sets.
