Handle came off the 1 inch barrel and sometimes it will not stay on. Contacting the manufacturer today. The metal stands are dated too. They get in the way of curling.

I am not an expert on curling irons, though I have owned a few different types, but to the best of my knowledge this is a very well built and designed set. I have very fine blonde hair, and have not been able to achieve the very popular soft wavy S-curl look with my hair thus far, until I bought this. My technique has not changed, but what I have found is that it was the 1 1/2" barrel that is imperative to achieve the look. I love this iron and would recommend it to anyone. This iron has many pros. They are: * 3 barrel sizes in 1 set (1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2") * Heats up quickly * Tourmaline barrel is meant to be much less damaging on the hair (I can't tell a difference so far, but it makes sense) * The black tip is large enough to grab onto and stays completely cool to the touch * Digital display tells you exactly what temperature it is (backlight changes from red to blue when the desired temp. is achieved) * Many heat settings available: 120-199 degrees (I can get away with a very low setting and with only mousse, curls hold well) * Optional Key Lock feature, which locks the buttons so you don't accidentally turn it off while working with it (very very handy and absolutely necessary) * Clamps do not create crease marks, no matter where you place hair on the barrels * Automatic shut-off/sleep mode, so it's never left on by accident (personally I set it to the max. 60 min., so it doesn't shut off before I'm ready to start using it) * You can change barrel sizes anytime, even while it's hot (though I have not tried it yet) Cons: * Largest barrel is very heavy and can get tiresome to hold (the smaller barrels are much lighter and feel an average weight) * Barrel clamps are a bit tight/stiff (2/3 are on my set, anyway). Maybe it will loosen up over time and be a little easier on the fingers * Although it comes with a nifty travel case which fits all parts, it doesn't cool down quickly, so I'm not sure about unplugging and packing it to go (maybe that's with all irons though) All in all, a great product and highly recommended!

Best ever. Never used curling irons too much. This is soft on the hair, curls and flips come out looking stellar and soft and doesn't seem to burn. Great technology, nifty 3-tool-design.

I ordered this three in one last Sunday and with a pleasant surprise got it by Wednesday. I took it out of the cute pouch, turned it on, and it said it wasn't connected properly, so could not work. After a couple hours reading the instructions over and over again, and letting my moms fresh eyes give it a try, we failed. I called someone at barbar hair tools, left an message and they called me back the next day. I am surprised with the great costumer service, today i send this one to her (paying for shipping) they will send me a new one free of cost, but it was still disappointing that it didnt work the first time.

You really can't beat the deal you can get with this item! 3 in 1 curling iron, that will hold your curls all day! I have used the iron several times. Changing the barrels are very easy, and I was surprised that you can even change the size when the curling iron is on and hot! Just be careful, but you can touch and pull the barrel out by the top, which surprisingly does not get hot at all! I recently purchased two irons (same sizes these came with), and I ended up returning them because I found this iron. And to top it off, you even get a cute pouch to hold the barrels you are not currently using. I also love the feature of being able to adjust the heat settings. The screen is digital and easy to read. All and all, I absolutely love this product and I would recommend it to anyone!

This is a quality product at a great price. The ease with Interchanging iron sizes, makes professional hairstyling a breeze. The temperature automatically is recalled and heats up in seconds! What a great idea this curling iron is. Three sizes and you just twist off one size & replace with another. For the price, it's a no brainer. And it does really pretty curls. It's just a really cool idea! And you can control the heat.

I got this as a gift for my 13 year old daughter. She was very happy with it. After giving her a brief lesson on changing the barrels, she was off to curl her hair. It is easy for her to use and she loves it.
