This iron is not worth the price, in my opinion. It does get a plus for being cordless. I love that, actually. But, it does get very hot and there is no temperature control option. It had that cheap curling iron smell. something that I just don't experience with quality irons. I returned mine. If it were about 60% cheaper, I'd say go for it. If you don't mind it getting super hit, I say go for it. If you want a quality iron, I say get something else so you get more for your money.

I was very optimistic when I ordered this set, I read the reviews and so I was expecting something very different. The curling iron is awful, your hair does not glide easily and you get the sence that you are damaging your hair, the flat iron is a little smoother when you run your hair through it, but I'm returning it because it's not worth the money. It just too cheap. Too bad, because it looks good, and the cordless feature is nice.

I got this set for my friend birthday gift. She keeps on raving about how great and confortable it is to use without wires. I am getting myself one before it is sold out !

I have this for about 4 years now and I LOVE it, when you use more than one iron you have cords getting in the way, not with this! I recommend this to EVERYONE!!!!!!!

In the first year the screws on the curling iron popped out like they were not secured. One of them I finally couldn't find, good thing I bought the warranty. The item heated quickly but it has no heat control causing the items to burn.

I loved the idea of this product: cordless flat iron and curling iron with a dual charging station. The temperture reaches a good level that is hot enough to curl my thick hair. But BIG downside is that a charge only lasts about 3 - 4 minutes. I have short hair but it is very tick and that is way too short of a charge to be able to curl my hair. I have to recharge it at least 4 times and when I am getting ready for work in the morning, that takes up way too much time having to recharge that often. I am going to return it and purchase curling/flat iron with a cord. I do not reccomend this to anyone with thick hair that take more that 5 minutes to curl.

I have purchased, from Overstock.com, this product in the past and since the manufacturer does not make these any more, got another one as back-up. Overstock.com had the best pricing I could find!

I plan on ordering this because I have had cordless for about 35 years, ONLY two sets. They are hard to find but the ones I've had have been great. Yes, you have to know what you are doing with the heat but then, they aren't Dime Store Curling irons. I actually have had my last set for 20 years and they are still working great. No, they were not made by this company but cordless, rechargeable is basically made the same by any company. Things are a littel tight right now but I WILL be buying these as soon as I have the money. I was a licensed wig stylist for many years and I have been doing hair for longer than licensed.

The Barbar 1900 is a wonderful curling set for someone on the go and who does not have alot of time to wait for it to heat up. It has been good for my dsughter and myself. it gets my hair straight and it looks just like the salon but at my own finger tips. I recommend everybody to try it, it's also very affordable too.

luv the cordless duo. wish the barrel of the curling iron was a little larger and wish the flat iron had a piece on the end to be able to hold together with both hands, but otherwise - LUV it!

I am a hairdresser and have paid 135 for these before. I am delighted to find them...I ordered 3 so I could enjoy them for a long time. They heat up great..Very hot. 400? degrees....Couldn't find these for a better price, anywhere....

This cordless combo heats up fast and is really convenient. I don't want to work with curling irons and flat irons that have twisted up cords anymore. Great product and great results!
