This is an easy to use device and seems to be quite accurate. Unfortunately, it is also very fragile. If you drop it (even from a short height, onto carpeting) it will break. I have had two of these, and both broke within a couple months. The plastic case is very light and evidently the components inside are not securely attached. I would expect more durability at this price point. So, if you are clumsy (or have cats who like to knock things off tables), then go with something a bit sturdier.

This is the worst product I have ever bought. I have owned about a dozen breathalyzers over the years and this product is by far the worst I have ever owned. It does not read accurately, or consistently. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM ANY DISTRIBUTOR.

it works pretty well for the most part. the only thing that i wasnt satisfied with was it took 18days to get here when it was supposed to take 10 maximum.

This was a gift for my daughter and her husband. They dine out often and enjoy alcoholic beverages with their meal. That extra glass of wine or beer can be very costly and embarassing if an evening out results in a DUI charge. They were very pleased with their Breathalyzer and have it with them when dining out. This is a great product for responsible people who do not want to guess if they exceed the legal limits.

The Bactrack Select S50 Breathalyzer is easy to use and provides BAC test results in an instant. It just makes sense to me that you need to look at your car's speedometer if you want to avoid a speeding ticket. Likewise, you need to get a reading on your BAC if you want to avoid a DWI. The Select S50 does a fine job of providing a real time number, eliminating any arguments about " I feel fine, give me the keys."

The bactrack has been very useful in letting us set limits when we drive. What you read about the effect of eating reducing you BAC is not necessarily true. Each person is different and many things affect the outcome. This unit has been very useful.
