This stethoscope was a present for my brother, the physician's assistant. He loves it. From what tells me, it is significantly louder than the Littman scopes he's used in the past, and the sound is clean and clear. I can't believe what a great deal I got at the O!'

It is supposed to make the hearing of both high and low frequency sounds (two heard in one), however, the you can bearly hear any sounds. The sound quality of a cheap $30 scope is superior to this.
