Amplifies ambient noise
I purchased this stethoscope to amplify breath sounds, it amplifies ambient noise instead. I did a side by side comparison with my current stethoscope (Littman Cardiology III) and the only difference was the amplified ambient noise and the uncomfortable ear tips. My ears hurt after 20 seconds of wearing this stethoscope. Breath sounds sound the same with either stethoscope.

- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Inaccurate.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The battery compartment did not want to close easily.

I bought this for myself and it really is a great stethescope should have bought one earlier. the only thing is is that the lid of the battery kept coming off I had to tape it in place.
