Give Your Baby the Royal Treatment

Here at Overstock.com, we love happy news, and your dedicated Overstock bloggers are as excited as everyone else about Britain's new royal baby. (In fact, we celebrated with tea and blueberry scones.) So we're taking a moment to say hello and welcome to George Alexander Louis, officially known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.

That's a lot of title for such a little guy, but we're sure he'll grow up to be a true Prince Charming to match his lovely name. Of course, every baby deserves a royal welcome, complete with a beautiful nursery and plenty of gifts. We're highlighting some great baby products fit for any little prince and his doting parents.

First off, this silver-plated baby rattle is a nice keepsake gift for new parents and doubles a shiny piece of nursery decor. If you want baby to look good while shaking that rattle, dress him in a Burberry onesie. The iconic British fashion house has a stylish dress for little princesses, too.

A baby gift can be both elegant and practical. This quilted throw blanket is pretty enough to display in a baby's room, but also soft enough to comfort him. Mom will love wrapping herself and her baby in it while they cuddle together in the rocking chair.

We aren't the only ones looking to the British Royals for inspiration: Alice Astourian at Ask Miss A recommends hanging our blue-and-tan striped faux silk curtains, also available in pink-and-cream stripes, in the baby's room. "These will look so luxurious in a nursery and are fit for Royalty," according to Alice. She also likes our United Kingdom flag rug, a great choice if you want to celebrate British heritage and add some color to a room at the same time.
