i bought this for my son who is seven...i was shocked how beautiful this guitar was when i got it....it has such a nice sound to it and is well made....i would definitely recommend this guitar to any :)

I live in California and I bought this guitar for my grand niece who lives in New Jersey. After talking with her several months later I found that the DVD/CD instructions weren't included with the guitar. As it turned out, that wasn't really a big deal as the guitar it now sits in the corner of her room collecting dust. Oh well!

After trouble with the strings, we took the gutiar to a music store who found that the whole thing was put together wrong. No complaints about overstocks customer service, working with us and very helpful.

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She was delighted! The guitar is beautiful and has a great sound. It comes with an instructional DVD and the lessons are easy to follow. She popped the DVD into the computer and was playing her first 2 songs within an hour.The auto-tuning feature on the DVD is great for beginners as well.

It is a very fine instument and one of the best for beginners, the gig back could use a little padding but otherwise a light, sturdy carrying case, and the instructional disk is great for getting started as a musician with a love for the nuiances of music.

this is a good starter for budding guitarists. not overly complicated

I bought this for my 11 year old son for Christmas. We were surprised to see how easy it was to follow along with the CD to learn notes and cords, how to tune, how to hold a guitar, all the basics for right and left handed players. Great gift for someone who wants to learn to play but can't get to lessons. I can wait until he moves on and I can learn myself.

I would definitely recommend this to any beginner.

if you have never played a guitar, this cd will lead you no where near learning how to play it.. No lessons on how to pick the individual strings, or how to place your fingers at the neck of the guitar to press the strings in order to produce different tunes or sound. I have learnt nothing so far!!!. The guitar itself is not bad.
