Xezo 925 Sterling Silver & Austrain Crystal Ball Point Pen

This is a gorgeous pen. It's almost incredible that it's a limited edition of only 500 pens. I guess for whatever reason these don't sell well. If indeed it's solid sterling silver, the price on Overstock is a good bargain. I liked it so much that I bought two. Although the specs don't mention it, I'm quite confident it's solid silver that's been plated over with either platinum or rhodium because it's too smooth and shiny to be bare silver. Plating with long wearing platinum or rhodium is a common practice in silver or white gold jewelry. What this means is eventually the plating will wear off and the dullness and oxidation of sterling silver will begin to show through after a couple of years use. But it's alright. The crytals and the guillouche make the pen look very pretty.
