    • Not too bad

      Upon opening the package, I was very impressed with the overall item. The wood is very good looking and the interior is nicely done. The drawers don't use any type of hardware and only sit on wooden rails that, once the varnish on the drawers wears off, they will begin to stick. The first time my wife tried to pick up the item by the handles on the sides, one of the handles came off in her hand. She was slightly disappointed, but since I am used to fixing things around the house, I was able to repair the handle with very little effort. The workmanship could be a little better, but besides these problems, this is a nice product

      The interior size of this very large jewelry box is deceptively small and doesn't hold any more jewelry than my smaller boxes. When mine arrived it was also imperfect. The lock didn't work, it didn't sit flat and had several imperfections in the finish. Although the wood is beautiful, I wouldn't suggest buying this product.

      The grain and polish are exquisite. Drawers slide effortlessly. Weight is substantial - appropriate for this size box. I bought it for a gift and now I want one, too!
