U.S. Army Cigar Humidor Two

I highly recommend this cedar humidor (or the relevant military) as a lovely and functional solution to cigar storage for one who doesn’t buy cigars by the case. I am not a cigar aficionado by any stretch of the imagination, so I turned to friends and family for recommendations when selecting a humidor for my boyfriend as an anniversary present. This one was highly recommended by all as the manufacturer is well known (at least among those who know). From a visual perspective, it is beautiful, and the cherry finish fits our living room perfectly. If you’re looking at any of the military versions of this box, note that both the painted and engraved insignia are very well done. My boyfriend loves it, most especially the ARMY part. Looking at other reviews, it’s probably relevant to note that I did not buy an additional gauge to monitor the humidity as the one that comes with it is supposed to be really good. As a newbie to this, the calibration took a little while as we were very cautious about overfilling the tray with glycol and distilled water, but I would say that it is better safe than sorry. Be patient and it will stabilize after a day or two with slow filling.

bought this humidor for my husband who is an iraq vet and also currently in the army ROTC for college. he loves the humidor! it smells great inside, is nicely made and so far have had no problems with it. someone reviewed that the top portion of the box is made of laminated wood so i was hesitant to purchase it but if it is actually laminated, you can't tell at all. the wood is of high quality, is nicely polished, deep cherry-red color, and the army crests on the top, side and inside of the box stand out nicely and are attractive. the hygrometer inside seems to be working fine (we had a digital one as well and it reads the same as the old-fashioned one with hands that comes with the humidor). it holds a TON of cigars. very good purchase in my opinion. only down side was that it came with a "puncher" that punches a hole in the cigar so you don't have to cut it. the puncher was broken. other than that, i'm very happy i got this for him :)
