This guitar, a Starcaster 'by Fender' has a great sound and it plays really smooth. It has this real "Strat" sound, and the floating tremelo is great. So, good deal for the price. It's probably a better deal if you live in the USA. Since i'm living outside the USA (Europe) there were some difficulties with the delivery. When the delivery came, i wasn't at home so the courier send it back to England, despite the fact my neighboars offered to store it for the time i was away (that's pretty much a custom in our country). They send it back anyway!Overstock sends their packages through England. Distribution, from the USA to mainland Europe, via England, is more expensive than through Germany. That made the price for the guitar rather high (well over 200 euros incl. shipping, excluding taxes). The guitar arrived with some minor damage in the lacquer. This is really not acceptable. If it's "scratched and dent" it should be noted. Even if it's "refurbished" it should be as good as new. One of the tuners also doesn't feel like it would last long, i might need to replace them all soon for some more serious tuners. I don't understand why it has such cheap tuners, since tuners are rather important,... Durability: 4 stars.I will. however, keep it anyway since it has the most fantastic sound for a guitar in this price range. I've played Washburn, Johnson, Fender Telecaster, Kramer Strats, Steiberger and many other brands but this one is, so far, one of the best singel-coils i've played on, considering the price payd for it.Some about customer service: after the courier send the package back, Overstock.com did everything they had to do and made sure i got the package. Great service on that point. But because of the damage i give it a 3-star value.
