This was my first experience with OS.com. I am very frustrated and disappointed. I ordered the above on April 11th and understood it would be delivered in 5-10 business days. The gift was never delivered. I went online to track status of delivery and it never changed.. After two weeks, i checked online via Chat; no number to call to talk to someone should have been a red flag. The agent inititiated a trace and after another 5 days, after checking back twice, I was told the purchase was being cancelled and reordered. At this point I would have expected an expedited delivery. Not the case, it was going to take the same 10 days to be delivered again, arriving on May 16th. I cancelled the order. I am now waiting to see how long it will take for the credit to show up on my card. I was able to utilize another company and will have the gift delivered by the 9th of May after placing the order on the 3rd. I will never purchase anything from Overstock again!
I sent this as gift for a grieving friend who lost her mother. I thought it would be enjoyed better than a sympathy flower. The first one ordered was never delivered. The second one was delivered but of course many days after it was originally ordered. Thing like that are understandable. When my friend rec'd it- she telephoned me to thank me. I said to her since we live in different states, I thought this would be nicer than Flowers or fruit-- Was it nice? Her comment was "I hope you did not pay a lot for this". I told her over $50 and she said "Please do not send this to anyone else". I was embarrassed. Thank Goodness she was a good friend.
