My horn came well packed and in perfect condition. Not only is it a good looking instrument (matching my high school colors), but it plays great. I use it for Pep Band. it's compact size makes it a very valuable part of the band. The sound is as powerful as it's big brothers, yet can have a very mellow tone if needed. My fellow horners really praised it after seeing and hearing it. It was the best purchase I have ever made at such substantial savings. I firmly recommend this instrument to anyone who enjoys playing!

Plays pretty good, very smooth and good feeling valve action, nice if limited tone. This is not a full size horn however and you won't match the range or performance of a full sized horn. Perfect for a student tired of carrying a full size trumpet case around. The only real beef I have is that the horn I got didn't look exactly like the one in the picture. My horn has gold tuning slides on a red trumpet, like someone put it together out of a mixed bag of parts. I'm a bit pissed about that but I still like it enough not to send it back.

I was amazed the quality and workmanship in this trumpet. Also it was a super good price!
