I can't figure out how to open in. There is no key! Overstock did not even send a receipt along with it. Can anyone tell me if I need a key?

I agree with the last reviewer. This has been sitting in my closet, because I can't figure out how to open it. There is no key, no directions, there was no receipt in the box to contact overstock or return it. The only think I can do with it is give it away as a white elephant christmas gift as a gag. It looks cute though.
